Papaj Resort

The hotel is nicely located, some people may be disturbed by the noise, depending on which side the balcony is on. We had it on the side of the promenade, a matter of getting used to it, but a nice vantage point to see what's going on around us. A bit crowded for breakfast, but that's logical. A wide selection of food, the only disappointment occurred during the first breakfast when the cleaning lady at the only free but not cleaned table reproached me and my wife, "I guess she has to clean the table", fortunately we didn't meet this lady again later. The swimming pool is amazing, the water is warm, even there are few people. Clean, recommended for families with children

I cannot understand all the positive comments about this hotel and restaurant. Maybe during the season they care more about the comfort of the rooms and employ a better chef and buy products with the correct shelf life? It remains a mystery to us because we certainly won't come back even in the high season. On the first day after arriving at the hotel, in the room in building B, an unpleasant smell was coming from the sewage system, from the shower drain in the corridor, and it was reaching its peak inside. After visiting the reception, it turned out that no one had reported anything like that and the lady laughed at us. It was sad for us. We went for a walk because we couldn't sit still because our head hurt We left the balcony open, but it didn't help to ventilate the room. The second time, at the reception, I said that we just wanted a different room. We were placed in building A. It was clean and nice, so we were happy to move. The room is tiny for 3 people and really tight when the extra bed is folded out. One small wardrobe with one shelf, so unpacking for 3 people didn't make sense. The suitcases were lying in the middle, so you could avoid everything. There was a table with chairs, but they were so crowded that it was impossible to sit down. If we moved one chair away, we hit the bedside table, the second one was on the balcony, and the third one was pushed against the wall by a table. A leaking fridge that flooded our backpack and a lot of things on the floor. We had to ask twice to replace the towels and bathrobes that had to be cleaned and dried. As it turned out, they will clean and replace towels upon request. Surprisingly, even though we reported that our room had flooded, no one was interested in the matter. The room was quiet and quiet, you couldn't hear anything from the rooms next door or from the staircase. The big minus is the lack of a curtain. It is transparent and the blinds in the window are blue, with holes, so it was brighter at night than during the day because the lighting outside provided such light. It was hard to sleep. The beds are small, the mattresses are very worn. We took our back pain home The mattresses on the children's bed are quite thin. Furniture from IKEA with many years of experience. Bathroom with clean, hot water. There are no bottles of water in the rooms, no products such as soap, shampoo, etc. Really poor. Food...our worst nightmare, but be careful, in the pub next to the cupboard, we met the ladies serving the Papaj hotel, so it speaks for itself...even the employees eat meals next door!! First visit to the purchased dinner.....ordered flounder fish with chips and potatoes plus a set of 3 types of salads, beetroot, celery, cucumbers and a children's dish, pork chop. Fish tasteless, salads inedible. A visit for breakfast... after preparing sandwiches with pasta, cottage cheese and fish. Everything was broken. This was reported to the staff, but the next day it was the same... Each item had to be smelled to be eaten The dinners were nothing spectacular, the broth was tasty, the second courses were mediocre, I couldn't eat any of the salads, we left the spinach, cabbage and fried beetroots in the original version. The good things are the swimming pool, hot water, saunas and a great gym that is extra-equipped. Ping-pong tables. The animations were nothing special, the lady was constantly running for coffee or taking breaks. Cool transitions between buildings and attractions. There would be no need to leave the building if there was a kitchen on the ground floor. So we had to visit the nearby sideboard with delicious food and the Lazurowa restaurant in the Szafir hotel.

We come to Jastrzębia Góra 3 to 4 times a year, whenever we are there we go to Papaj for breakfast (the breakfast is very rich, delicious and you can eat as much as you want and as much as your stomach can accommodate hihi) lunch and dinner, we know the menu by heart: ) we decided to come to Papaya this year as hotel guests, my rating is 5/5, from the decor to the service ;)! I recommend it to everyone who has children and those who prefer to spend time without them, there is something for everyone, from a playroom and games to gyms, swimming pools and saunas, even a massage zone and free bike rental with a helmet, the only drawback is probably the slightly cold weather. water in the pool and definitely too short a vacation, from now on we will only return to Papaya as hotel guests 💕
